There is a war going on and the Church must wake up to the warfare. God is shaking things up as the Word prophesied in Haggai 2: 4 – 9 and Hebrews 12:25 - 28. Nobody can sit this one out. For in this war there are no civilians, only soldiers or casualties. We must choose which side we’re on…the world’s or God’s. Choose this day whom you will serve and whose council you will yield to during this time of global financial crisis. Decide now, once and for all, who or what is your source…God, man or mammon. But beware; even Christians who follow the world’s ways and disobey the voice and commandments of God will become casualties.

Christianity is the called "the great confession." We accept Christ as our Lord and Savior through our confessions of faith; we lay hold to the promises of God through our confessions of faith; and we shape the world around us through our words of faith or the lack thereof. Many of us visit our primary care physicians for regular checkups to make sure that our bodies are functioning properly and do whatever we need to in order to maintain our physical health. But how often do we do a checkup on the words we speak?
