Opportunities for the Wise and the Foolish |

Our God is an "equal opportunity God." But it's how we respond to the opportunities He affords us that classify us to receive the full benefits of those opportunities. A prime example of this is God's classification of the wise and the foolish. Now most of us are aware that God's definitions and views are quite different than that of men. Therefore, His definition of the wise and foolish has little or nothing to do with degrees, accomplishments, successes or failures, or even skill.

Wise Lamps Burning Bright or Foolish Lamps Too Dim to Shine |

In the Body of Christ, we are all considered as lamps or temples of the Holy Spirit, commissioned by God to be bright lights in the dark world around us. We all have the same initial measure of faith; the same salvation; the same initial impartation of the Holy Spirit; the same number of hours in the same day; and I dare say, equal access to time spent in fellowship with God and fellowship with other members of the Body via our local church or small groups. Yes, we are equal in many ways in God's eyes, and yet there seems to be various differences or classes among us that make us stand out not only to Him and the Kingdom of God, but to those around us.
