St. Peter's Church and World Outreach Center

Our goal is to provide a well-equipped inviting Family Life Enrichment Center (FLEC) that will encourage those inside and outside our church family to make use of the facilities and to participate in the wide variety of programs that we have available. The FLEC is designed to minister to the needs of the whole man – spirit, mind and body. The 73,000-square foot multi-purpose complex is located on the campus of SPWOC. The FLEC provides a place for engaging in healthy physical competition, with rooms for individual physical development, meetings, and special events.

Programs/Activities

Athletics

Basketball
The Winner’s Basketball League (youth & children) begins registering participants from November – January, with league play beginning in February.   This event is open to all children in our church and community.

Volleyball
Adult volleyball registration begins in May and the league begins in June. This event is open to non-members as well as members.

Aerobics
Join the women’s aerobic class from 6:00pm – 7:00pm Tuesdays. Enjoy the great workout with one of our certified instructors.

Children’s Activities

Boy Scout Troops
Enjoy structured training, competition, creative activities, and camping trips.

Tutorial Program
Enjoy structured training, competition, creative activities, and camping trips.

Summer Enrichment Camp
The camp is geared to assist children ages 4-14 to be better prepared academically for the upcoming school year. Our camp offers weekly trips, tennis, swimming, and drama opportunities. Breakfast, lunch and an evening snack are served daily.

Summer Feeding Program
Our summer feeding program begins in June and ends when the camp ends in August. The program allows children and youth ages 1-18 years old, in the community as well as in our church, to come and eat breakfast and lunch for no cost.

Before and After School Program
This program provides childcare before school begins and after school ends. We offer academics, arts, crafts, sports, team building, and moral development. In addition, public speaking exercises are offered to the participants.

SPWOC Ministry Activities

Weekly Small Groups
Small fellowship groups from all ages have weekly meetings at the FLEC. The main purposes for these groups are to build relationships with each other and to grow spiritually.

Encounter Weekend
These special encounter weekends are designed to meet the spiritual needs of all four SPWOC networks – children, youth, women, and men.
