BREAKFAST AND LEARNING SERIES:  HEALTHY AGING

We are supporting our senior members [ages 55+] in their efforts to live healthy, independent, and fulfilling lives.

CONNECT WEDNESDAY

Connect Care and Affinity Group meetings will be held on campus on Wednesday, August 22nd and all over the Triad on this day.

However, you have a choice to attend the Wednesday morning Prayer at 9:30 am and Bible Study at 10:30 am or evening Prayer at 6:00 PM and Bible Study at 7:00 PM.

If you are not in a Connect Care or Affinity Group, we encourage everyone to get connected by registering online today!

 

 

 

FAMILY NIGHT OF FUN

St. Peter’s come to our Family Night of Fun 2018 at Bailey Park Downtown Winston-Salem, located at 525 Vine Street.

FREE PARKING at the Fourth &  Church Street Parking Deck.

This Event is August 24th  from 7 – 9 pm. A night of fun and fellowship for the SPWOC family and local WS community. You are encouraged to bring your own basket of food, blanket, and lawn chair for your family.  A dessert voucher will be provided per family from St. Peter’s.

The shuttle will run from 6:30-7:30 PM and then again from 8:30 – 9:00 PM. And Registration will be from 6:30 – 8:00 PM.

This night will include a LIVE DJ, Live Entertainment, face painting for adults and children, inflatables for kids and much more.

MRS. JOYCE HASH WOMEN’S MINISTRY BOOK CLUB

Ladies join us on Saturday, August 25th  at 8:00 AM in the Family Life Enrichment Center, in room 105 for Mrs. Joyce Hash, Women’s Ministry Book Club.  She will be teaching from the book, “You’ve Already Got It!.” Available in the St. Peter’s Bookstore.

LIVE TO GIVE.  GIVE TO LIVE. – BLOOD DRIVE

DID YOU KNOW?  Every 2 seconds someone in the United States needs blood.  That more than 38,000 blood donations are needed every day.  And one donation can help three people.

St. Peter’s Members and friends, adult ages 16 and older, we are asking you to participate in the Live to Give. Give to Live.  – Blood Drive, hosted by the American Red Cross on Sunday, September 2nd from 12:00 noon through 4:30 pm, in the Family Life Enrichment Center. A small meal will be provided to those who donate blood.

GRIEF THERAPY

Mourning the death of a loved one is a process that takes time. If you need help coping with the loss of a loved one, we encourage you to attend Grief Therapy conducted by Hospice.

This group therapy session will be held in the St. Peter’s Family Life Enrichment Center in Room 208 on Saturday, September 8th at 10:00 AM. Grief Therapy is offered to all ages (children and adults).

This session is free and open to all, however, we ask that you please register.

Come and celebrate the 31st Pastoral Anniversary of Bishop James C. and Mrs. Joyce Hash on Sunday, September 23rd at our 9:30 am service.

The St. Peter’s Leadership Institute is designed to inspire and challenge both seasoned and emerging leaders. Join us for a five-week leadership course, that will better equip your personal, spiritual and professional life.
