Psalm 50:23 “Whoso offereth praise glorifieth me: and to him that ordereth his conversations aright will I shew the salvation of God.”
Praising God encompasses so many facets in that you praise God in your dance, in your shout, in your lifestyle, in your thanks, and in your conversation. Praise is more than a Sunday or Wednesday thing. It is every day and it is in every part of you. Whatever you do, you do to the glory of God. He is the Recipient of your praise. Did you know that how you maintain your body praises God? Your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit; therefore, having a healthy diet and exercise regimen even praises Him. Gospel singer Mandisa Hundley transformed her life to glorify God by eating healthier and by spending quality time in the gym. She wanted to be a living example of the songs she sang that celebrated God’s awesome power.
Today’s scripture shows that if you praise God, He will show you His power because your praise is a vehicle for God to reveal Himself to you. He can minister to you through your praise because your focus is on Him and not on yourself or your situation. Now you are the recipient of His divine blessings. This wonderful power also enables you to control your conduct and order your lifestyle. It shows you another meaning of salvation that can take you to another level spiritually. Praise is the key to your success in God.
Father, I will praise You with my whole life. I open myself up to Your power. I purpose to have a song of praise in my mouth and in my lifestyle so that others may see Who You are in me. Thank You for revealing to me how to really praise You. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
